2010 finalist Mumbai Indians are the one of the 2 teams who retained all possible 4 players for IPL 4. Sachin Tendulkar, Kevin Pollard, Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh has been retained. They bought Australian all rounder Andrew Symmonds and Rohit Sharma for the 4th season.

They also got Indian fast bowler Munaf Patel and few other interesting players like Clint McKay, James Franklin and Davy Jacobs.
